The son of our illustrious Pastor, Rev. Dr. E. Theophilus Caviness.  He is a graduate of Bishop College, where he received a Bachelor of Theology and a Master’s Degree from Colgate Theological Seminary.  He has served as the Co-Pastor of Greater Abyssinia for more than 30 years.  He is often considered the “Minister of Music.”  Co-Pastor Caviness loves to sing praises unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  His voice can be heard each Sunday as he sings to the glory of God.  Rev. Theophilus James Caviness, Sr. is a dedicated young man of God.   He praises the Lord in his own way; always being by his father’s side.
